List of games with compatibility issues: Difference between revisions

As the Sega Master System version of ''Micro Machines'' crashes in the system's default emulator, to avoid its complete incompatibility it must be converted to the Game Gear format. To do this, simply change the file extension of the game's ROM file from ''SMS'' to ''GG'' and place that file in the ''Game Gear'', rather than ''Sega Master System'', folder of the FunKey S. While the game will be zoomed in and graphically glitched due to the differences of the Game Gear hardware, the game itself remains entirely playable. Despite this, the use of a third-party emulator to emulate ''Micro Machines'' and the twelve incompatible Sega Master System games that remain unplayable when converted this way is still recommended. The games actually on the Game Gear among those listed below have the similar severe graphical glitches due to being direct ports of Master System games.

The following Game Gear games are ports of Master System games that have cropped, graphically glitched graphics, the latter being due to an inaccurate conversion of the Master System color palette to the expanded one of the Game Gear. Unlike the similarly affected Game Gear games listed [[#Games with severe graphical glitches|above]], however, the following games have additional glitches that make them entirely unplayable via the Game Gear emulator of the FunKey S. They should therefore be emulated in their original Master System format by changing the ROM's file extension from ''GG'' to ''SMS'' and moving it to the device's ''Sega Master System'' folder.
