Hi there, retrogamers! It's time for our weekly update! 😊 On the agenda today is The FunKey Wiki, gameplay footage, and production updates, among other topics.
Hello Kickstarter! How has it been? Today it's time for a new update! A few weeks ago we started designing the packaging, and earlier this week we received a physical version of it! Have a look!

The dimensions of the packaging are 3.35in x 3.35in x 1.38in (85mm x 85mm x 35mm), with each box having a sticker to indicate the color of the FunKey S unit within. They were produced with recyclability in mind, and are packaged simply and efficiently. A handheld box for a handheld console! We hope you like it! 😊
<b>The FunKey Wiki</b></div>
Maybe you've heard of it, but a member of the FunKey community has set up a wiki page for the FunKey S, and it's crazy awesome! CoolieCooster did an amazing job and the whole FunKey team truly thanks him for his spontaneous involvement. We encourage everyone to go have a look and consider contributing! On the wiki he has compiled a list of [[List of emulatable games (freeware)|freeware]] retro games that can legally downloaded for free(for those who keep saying that ROMs are illegal), in addition to a list of [[List of emulatable games (commercial)|commercial]] retro games that can be purchased from a variety of publishers. Since Coolie has done significant research into such software, he's now helping us find the five best freeware games on each emulated platform, which will be included in the default software for the FunKey S!
 
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the supportive messages and emails that we have received. Having such an amazing community truly motivates us to go further!

<b>Gameplay and Production</b></div>
Two days ago we shared a video on our [https://www.instagram.com/funkey_project/ Instagram page] showing how ''Super Mario Bros. Advance'' and ''Ghouls'n Ghosts'' run on the FunKey S. We will be sharing more visuals, information, and gameplay videos on our Instagram page so feel free to follow us there (@funkey_project)! Additionally, we are pleased to announce that electrical mass production of the FunKey S has begun! We have ordered the electronic components and circuit boards, which our manufacturer will use to begin the assembly of the FunKey S PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) as soon as possible.

<b>Orders and Surveys</b></div>
Earlier this week we stopped taking further orders on the Indiegogo InDemand platform since we were finally ready to open our own store here. This does not affect orders that have already been submitted via that platform or Kickstarter, so backers do not need to resubmit their orders. Any backers who have not yet answered their surveys or wish to change their survey answers are encouraged to do so promptly, as we will soon be locking orders, after which we unfortunately cannot fulfill orders without filled out surveys since we require the color and shipping address information to fulfill backer orders.
