This article lists games that have compatibility issues with the default FunKey S emulators. As the compatibility of such games can range from fully-compatible to fully-incompatible, compatibility issues have been divided into four main categories based on severity: fully-compatible, fully-playable, partially-compatible, and incompatible. These categories list games that are glitch-free if configured correctly, slightly-glitched, heavily-glitched, and incompatible, respectively. While it is recommended that games in the first two categories be played in the default emulators, as their glitches generally do not affect gameplay, games in the last two categories should be played in third-party emulators, if available. Considering the two consoles with the most compatibility issues, the PlayStation and Game Boy Advance, the former does not have and is unlikely to get a third-party emulator with higher compatibility at full speed (though may be improvable at some point via the use of configuration files), while the latter has several third-party emulators available that are both more demanding and accurate than the default GBA emulator.
This article lists games that have compatibility issues with the default FunKey S emulators. This includes games that need to be patched to function properly, games with emulation issues, games that require hardware that the device's emulators do not support, and games that crash at startup or have significant graphical glitches that render them unplayable. As inaccuracies with the FunKey's GBA emulator, gpSP, cause several games to crash or experience severe graphical glitching, third-party (though more CPU intensive and at times slower) GBA emulators are an alternative option to improve GBA compatibility. As the games on this page are divided into sections based on the glitch that affects them, users searching for specific games should use their browser's text search feature to locate them. While PlayStation compatibility is relatively good, several emulation issues with a number of its games have been documented on this page as well. Before adding a PlayStation game to one this article's lists, however, test an alternate version of it to ensure that the issue is with the emulation of the game and not the game backup itself.
