If you have ordered recently, you might be wondering when you'll receive your FunKey. As the production of a brand new batch of devices is currently in progress, we expect device shipment to resume in April. While we do not currently expect delays, production in China is currently rattled with high demand for a low supply of materials, which has led to shortages of several products. While we secured all the components we needed, we'll continue to monitor the situation and let you know if anything changes. That will be all for today; as always thanks for your ongoing support! We will continue watching, sharing, and commenting as you share your experiences with your FunKey S!

A minor revision to FunKey-OS was released on March 2nd. Changes made include the elimination of a high pitched noise sometimes emitted by the system, the addition of the Master System OPK to the Gmenu2x launcher, and the ability to use BIN format ROMs with the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) emulator. A full changelog is available at the FunKey-OS 2.0.1 [https://github.com/FunKey-Project/FunKey-OS/releases/tag/2.0.1 download page]. To update to this new version of FunKey-OS, the ''FunKey-rootfs-2.0.1.fwu'' file should be downloaded from the aforementioned download page and added to the root directory of the FunKey S file system. After the FunKey S is unmounted following this transfer, it will automatically detect and install the firmware update file prior to restarting. A full guide on this process is available [https://doc.funkey-project.com/user_manual/tutorials/software/firmware_update/ here] in the documentation section of the FunKey Project website.
