Today is the day is we release our distribution on [https://github.com/FunKey-Project/FunKey-OS GitHub]! This repository contains all the sources required to build FunKey-OS, the Open-Source distribution at the heart of the [https://www.funkey-project.com/ FunKey S retro-gaming console]. As the FunKey S console is based on an [http://www.allwinnertech.com/index.php?c=product&a=index&id=38 Allwinner V3s ARM Cortex-A7 1.2GHz CPU], an Operating System is mandatory in order to access all the hardware resources without re-inventing the wheel.
Using CoolieCoolster's suggestions of games made by an amazing community of developers for most of the systems emulated by the FunKey S, we have finally compiled the list of homebrew games that will be preloaded onto the FunKey S. To ensure that we provide an entirely legal collection of games on the system, we asked the homebrew game developers for permission to include their games on the system. If we get more confirmations from developers regarding games that we have inquired about including on the FunKey S, the following list may be amended at a later date:
