Taking into account COVID-19 and the Chinese New Year, we have decided to not set an updated shipment date at this moment, though we expect it to be in either February or March, depending on how long it takes to pick, receive, and install new MicroSD cards. To avoid having to halt the shipping process again, we have asked the manufacturer to review every unit for every reported issue, ensuring that all of them work as intended. While we are working to complete this process as quickly as possible, we also wish to ensure that each backer has the best experience the FunKey S can provide. As we understand that backers have waited a long time to receive their units, we have been working tirelessly to deliver the remaining units as soon as possible. We ask those who were sent their units prior to the halting of shipments to [mailto:support@funkey-project.com let us know] of their experiences, as we hope to guarantee a positive experience for all backers. We've seen several people already enjoying the console and we couldn't be happier! 😄 One of them even designed a leather carrying pouch for their system, and it simply looks amazing! If you wish to see more stuff like this, we invite you to join the [https://discord.gg/G9kCvjg FunKey community Discord server]! We'll get back to you next week for more info, promised!

We know that you were all expecting to have your systems soon and we are unbelievably sorry for this added delay. While the system fault rate has been relatively low, we made this hard decision since anything less than the upmost quality would have been a disappointment to both our backers and ourselves. Both we and our manufacturer know that any fault is unacceptable, so we're currently working hard to make sure this never happens again. As we are aware that this is not the most pleasant update to read (believe us, it's even harder to write), we want to leave you with an assurance: we will not let you down and will return with another update as soon as we have revised our schedule.
